Essential Technical skills:

• Experienced Python Developer to be part of a team working on strategic and tactical projects for the Wholesale Lending business
• Strong knowledge and development experience using Advanced Python
• Proficient in Python development, Experience in developing RESTful web services, preferably Fast API (or) Flask, Django and API development.
• Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in area(s) of Applications Development
• Experience in microservices - commercial experience with messaging
• Hands on software engineer who will be writing code daily
• Demonstrate knowledge on code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in the CI/CD
• Understanding of both relational and non-relational databases
• Able to write shell & batch programs
• Experience in version control tools like GIT, SVN and Bitbucket

Essential soft skills:

• Enthusiasm for learning and pursuing development of new skills
• Ability to work independently with end users to gather requirements and design solutions
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate

Desirable:

• Experience in python-based streaming (ETL/Kafka) development is preferred
• Experience in k8's is preferred
• Experience with MongoDB preferred
• Experience in the financial services industry
• Exposure to Ul development work
