Job Description:

As a part of the first group of hires in our product design team, you will play a crucial role in our company’s mission to redefine digital patient experiences through ground-breaking design. This position is not just about enhancing the look and functionality of our products; it’s about setting new standards and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in human-centered design.

The ideal candidate will be expected to challenge established norms and constantly think outside the traditional frameworks to develop intuitive, engaging products that meet the needs of tomorrow's users.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design process for the app, from concept ideation to final implementation, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience across all touchpoints.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and persona development to gain insights into user behaviors, preferences, and pain points.
• Translate user insights and business requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
• Work closely with leadership, engineers, and other stakeholders to iterate on designs based on feedback and technical constraints.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate personalized recommendations, predictive analytics, and other advanced features into the app's interface.
• Ensure consistency and coherence in visual design, interaction patterns, and branding elements throughout the app, adhering to established design guidelines and standards.
• Stay informed about emerging trends, best practices, and technologies in UX/UI design and healthcare to continuously enhance the app's design strategy and user experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Design, HCI, Human Factors, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MFA, MS) preferred.
• 3 – 10 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and user-centered design solutions. Bonus points for presenting truly visionary ideas. 
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar software for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Solid understanding of user research methodologies, usability principles, and design thinking processes.
• Experience designing for mobile apps, responsive web, and other digital platforms, with a focus on innovation, accessibility, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Vue.js) is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to diverse stakeholders.
• Passion for healthcare, empathy for users, and a desire to make a meaningful impact through design.

Important Information: 

The maximum starting salary for this position is 200,000PKR per month. The minimum starting salary is 90,000PKR per month. All employees at all salary levels qualify for vesting equity options after 12 months with the company.  

Please note, at the maximum salary level – we expect you to be better than the best of the best. Kindly keep this in mind when submitting your salary expectations.

There are a total of 4 available positions with varying seniority levels depending on your qualifications. 

This position requires you to be in Lahore, Pakistan or be willing to relocate within 45 days of starting. Relocation packages may be offered contingent of quality of talent. 

The start date for this position is June 1^st, 2024.
