JOB POSITIONS: Civil Engineer & Lead Civil Engineer.

KEY INFORMATION:

• Civil Engineering Degree,
• From 6 years of experience,
• Energy industry experience required (Oil&Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Offshore…),
• Reinforced Concrete structure experience,
• 3D CAD.

LOCATION: Bristol.

EXPERTISE: The Civil Engineer will support a small dedicated transverse team within Civil group who provide technical expertise across a number of civil building design teams for the Nuclear Island of the HPC Nuclear New Building Project or SZC client organisation.

The activities will be performed for HPC or SZC.

The activities will be performed within a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment, sticking to a project way of working with high expectation on delivery time, schedule, safety and nuclear safety.

• Receive Analyse, and verify the consistency of the input data,
• Modifying reinforced concrete structure designs compliant with the ETC-C, other relevant codes,
• Maintaining the client’ QA procedures in delivering the CW design,
• Working and reviewing with the designers in the preparation of the design drawings/models modified,
• Managing engineering changes in line with company procedures,
• Liaise with subject matter experts.

Lead Civil Engineer:

• Coordination, experience in people management and leading a team,
• Technical background (design, drawing, calculation) on 3D CAD,
• Project and contract management,
• Experience in implementing a replication strategy (from a power plant to another).

Qualifications:

-Civil Engineering background,

-Good experience with reinforced concrete structure.

Software and Tools:

-Naviswork,3D CAD, Eurocodes.
