We are seeking a talented Process Analyst willing to relocate to or currently located in Brussels, Belgium.
As a Process Analyst you will conduct a comprehensive gap analysis across multiple departments, with a focus on optimizing processes related to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders from various teams to identify inefficiencies, assess current workflows, and recommend actionable solutions to improve productivity, quality, and project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Gap Analysis and Process Improvement
- Conduct in-depth gap analyses across SDLC-related processes in various departments, identifying areas of improvement and potential risks.
- Map current workflows, gather insights from process stakeholders, and document existing gaps.
- Develop, document, and present gap analysis findings to relevant departments and leadership teams.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Collaborate with IT, Development, QA, Project Management, and other key departments to ensure holistic improvement of SDLC processes.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews with stakeholders to gather qualitative and quantitative data on existing processes.
- Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to foster clear communication and understanding of process objectives.
Solution Design and Implementation
- Design and recommend process enhancements to streamline the SDLC, improve resource allocation, and increase delivery speed and quality.
- Work closely with department leaders to implement, monitor, and evaluate process changes.
- Develop KPIs and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
Documentation and Reporting
- Document current processes, analysis results, proposed changes, and implementation plans.
- Prepare and deliver periodic reports and presentations on project progress, findings, and improvements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in process analysis, business analysis, or a related role, with a strong focus on SDLC process improvement.
Skills:
- Experience with gap analysis methodologies and process improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and related tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Experience working in cross-functional teams within IT or software development environments.
