Your Role:
- Transform Data into Insights: Develop and maintain the pipeline that securely moves and processes drone data into the cloud, unlocking key insights.
- Architect Scalable Solutions: Build infrastructure and ETL processes that handle large-scale data, emphasizing future-proofing and robustness.
- Drive Scalability & Reliability: Proactively enhance pipeline stability, ensuring it’s scalable to meet growing demands and support real-time analysis.
- Automate Cloud Infrastructure: Use Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD practices to deploy, maintain, and monitor cloud environments.
- Foster Developer Satisfaction: Enhance tools, processes, and culture to create a developer-friendly environment that maximizes efficiency and satisfaction.
- Mentor and Inspire: Share your knowledge, guiding colleagues and setting high standards in coding and best practices.
- Boost Data Pipeline Visibility: Improve documentation and communication to elevate the visibility and understanding of our data pipeline company-wide.
Your Experience:
- Relevant Degree: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ Years of Expertise: Proven experience in software engineering
- Python & Cloud Mastery: Excellent Python programming skills and expertise in AWS (Lambda, SNS, SQS).
- Database Knowledge: Proficient in using DocumentDB and RDS or similar database systems.
- Infrastructure & Automation: Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and DevOps principles.
- Agile Team Player: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Git-based tools (e.g., GitLab or Gerrit).
