Wordpress Developer in UNITED KINGDOM

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Frontend Developer with expertise in Headless WordPress and React.js to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging Headless WordPress site where WordPress serves as the content management system (CMS) and React powers the frontend. Our ultimate goal is to build a high-performing, visually captivating website that elevates user experience through interactive animations, dynamic elements, and superior user feedback responses.

2 to 3 month contract – Fully remote – rates are dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain a Headless WordPress site, using WordPress as the backend CMS and React.js for the frontend.
• Implement animated and interactive content that enhances user engagement and delivers outstanding user feedback.
• Work closely with the design and UX teams to ensure that the website meets brand standards and provides a seamless experience.
• Develop reusable components and ensure responsive, cross-platform functionality.
• Optimize the site for performance, scalability, and SEO using best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade the site as needed to maintain functionality and alignment with current web trends.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Headless WordPress development, integrating WordPress as a CMS with a React.js frontend.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and front-end libraries/frameworks (React.js required).
• Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL, and headless CMS integration techniques.
• Experience in creating animations and interactive content for a highly engaging user experience.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and best practices for site performance.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
