Digisalix is still young and small, but our founders have seen multiple exits in their career. We tackle challenges involving maths, algorithms, and machine learning to craft neatly packaged software for our customers’ specific needs. It could be optimising cargo packaging, planning routes for autonomous vehicles, planning tasks for robots, or something completely different. Anyhow, with us, you’ll be turning the visions of industrial researchers into the reality of tomorrow.

Python is our go-to language (although, no goto there 🥁). We currently use TypeScript/React & FastAPI for most UI development. We also enjoy coding fast custom algorithms in C++ and one of us even dreams of writing Rust on the job! Nothing is set in stone and your input will be valued.
WE DON’T EXPECT YOU TO HAVE 10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN PROMPTING CHATGPT, BUT IDEALLY, YOU’RE
We assume even good candidates won’t tick all the boxes – we’re happy to teach the rest over time.
Bonus points for strong domain expertise (PhD or MSc combined with industrial experience) in some scientific or industrial field like robotics, automation, computer vision, computational chemistry or biology, human-computer interaction, etc.
By now, you probably have a good sense of what it’s like to work at Digisalix from a technical perspective. On the human side, we’re laid-back but highly focused on getting results for our customers. As an early hire in a small company, you’ll have a good chance to shape our future direction.
Digisalix is a fairly remote-friendly company. We keep in touch in three ways: Daily calls, weekly onsite day(s), and a monthly fun activity & discussions day (superlähipäivä). We just moved into a new super-cool office next to Helsinki Central Railway Station.
At least in the beginning, you need to be able to travel to our Helsinki office daily and later on weekly. We are happy to consider candidates who don’t speak Finnish, but we can’t help with relocation or work permits, sorry.
We offer a salary of 4 200 – 5 500 € per month, plus the possibility of ownership. You'll also get occupational health care, and sports & culture benefits.
