About the Role

ClearScale seeks a Senior SDET Engineer for a large-scale migration project, transforming a customer-facing platform from on-premises to AWS cloud. You'll drive quality assurance in our modernization initiative, which includes decomposing monolithic applications into microservices, implementing Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) patterns, and containerization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement test automation strategies across legacy and modern architectures
  • Create automated test suites for containerized microservices, BFF implementations, and APIs
  • Execute performance testing for both monolith and microservices environments
  • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and maintain quality metrics
  • Collaborate with development teams on .NET upgrade paths and testing coverage


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in test automation with expertise in:
  • Java/ะก#-based testing frameworks (primary), optionally JS/Python
  • Container testing (TestContainers, Docker)
  • API testing and message queues (Kafka, SQS)
  • Performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
  • Data store testing (DynamoDB, Redis, SQL)
  • CI/CD pipeline integration
  • Strong self-management and English communication skills (B1+)


Nice to Have

  • React testing and frontend performance optimization
  • AWS services knowledge
  • ASPX modernization experience
  • Container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)


Technical Stack

  • Current: .NET Framework, ASPX, monolithic architecture
  • Target: .NET Core, React, microservices, AWS, Docker, BFF pattern
