Information Security Manager (Cyprus) in CYPRUS

KoronaPay team is developing a new generation fintech product — a web and mobile application for a money transfer system. Our goal is to create convenient and affordable financial services that bring people closer together.

We are looking for a strong information security specialist to join us in the role of Senior Information Security Specialist. A key initial task for our new colleague will be to review policies and security standards for compliance with the Digital Operational Resilience Act, make necessary changes and implement them into current business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development and implementation of a comprehensive information security strategy for the company, including policies, procedures and controls to protect our systems and data from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Oversee the implementation of security measures to protect the Company's data, systems and network infrastructure.
• Identify potential weaknesses and areas for improvement through regular risk assessments and security audits.
• Advise management on potential risks within information systems and technological needs to safeguard business goals and strategies.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in cyber security and information security best practice, and ensure that our security measures comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Work with the International Business Information Security Team, as well as with local departments, including IT, Legal and Compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for security incidents and breaches, leading the response and recovery efforts to minimize the impact on the business and our customers.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of information security experience with a desire to grow into a leadership role.
• Experience in the field of fintech, banking and experience in interacting with the regulator represented by the central bank.
• In-depth knowledge of information security principles, practices and technologies.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to information security, such as PCI DSS, DORA and GDPR.
• Ability to think strategically and develop long-term security plans that align with the organization’s business objectives.
• Certification will be an advantage.
