Our client is a fast-growing fintech company, building cutting-edge mobile applications for a diverse range of users in the finance and trading space. Their focus is on creating intuitive, responsive, and high-performing solutions that streamline financial interactions. As they expand, they’re looking for a talented React Native Developer to help them build the next generation of mobile experiences.
Full time: 40 hours per week
100% remote job / independent contractor
Working hours: Turkish working hours (GMT+3)
Monthly Starting Salary: $1600 (can be higher, depending on candidate’s level of experience)
Will start as a 6-month contract, with potential to be extended (based on performance)
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, to ensure seamless integration of visuals and functionality.
Build reusable, high-quality components that enhance app performance.
Integrate mobile apps with APIs and back-end services.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize mobile applications for responsiveness and performance across different devices.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure the robustness of your code.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in mobile development, particularly in React Native.
Required Skills
At least 3 years of solid experience in the same capacity.
Proficient in JavaScript/ES6+ and deep experience with React Native.
Experience with both iOS and Android development.
Strong understanding of mobile debugging tools, performance optimization, and API integrations.
Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
Knowledge of state management tools like Redux.
Experience with native mobile features such as GPS, push notifications, and camera integrations.
Ability to publish apps to the App Store and Google Play Store.
Bonus Skills
Experience with TypeScript and native mobile development (Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin).
Knowledge of Firebase or similar backend-as-a-service tools.
Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines (Bitrise, Fastlane).
Understanding of security best practices for mobile applications.
Prior experience with financial or trading products.
Familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT to boost productivity.
What We’re Looking For
We seek developers with a proven track record of leading mobile development projects. You should be able to test your own code rigorously, ensuring quality and efficiency. The initial engagement is a six-month project to redesign our client portal's UI/UX and add innovative features to our existing app. If your work impresses, there is potential for extension.
