We are expanding our teams in the Database sector to take on the Galileo mission.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

The Database Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the operational database preparation and maintenance for the ongoing Galileo mission. This position is responsible for overseeing the development and population of the Operations Database (ODB) based on database change requests (DCRs), ensuring seamless integration and validation within the Satellite Control & Command Facility (SCCF).

Your main tasks will be:

  • Responsible for the Operations database development
  • Database Updates
  • Population of the operations database according to database change requests
  • Debugging and correction of the operational database Operational Database installation and activation on SCCF Execution and debugging of the FOP
  • Release Process Flight Operations Procedure
  • Release Documentation Maintenance of the Operations Product Configuration List

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for experts in in Computer Science, Information Technology, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.

If this position sounds like a good fit for you, here’s what we’re looking for:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Up to 1 year of experience in database management, analysis, or a similar technical role, preferably in an operational or engineering environment
  • Basic knowledge of database development and population processes, including experience working with SQL or other database management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and address database anomalies

We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:

  • Debugging and troubleshooting database issues
  • Understanding of software release processes and version control
  • Knowledge of operational environments and the use of databases in mission-critical applications (experience with satellite or aerospace systems is a plus)
  • Familiarity with ESA standards or processes is an advantage but not mandatory
