Senior Network Designer (relocation to Belgium) in PORTUGAL

We are seeking a talented Network Designer willing to relocate to or currently located in Brussels, Belgium.

As part of this role, you will work closely with two other network designers to translate the Architect's high-level design into a detailed, actionable network design.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Detailed Network Design: Work with the project team to convert high-level architectural designs into detailed technical designs.
• Testing: Set up and manage design testbeds to ensure network solutions are thoroughly tested before deployment.
• Documentation: Write detailed design documentation that outlines network configurations, protocols, and procedures.
• Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to the qualification and operation teams during both the qualification and deployment phases of the network migration.
• Collaboration: Work alongside two other designers, supporting the transition and integration process to ensure the new SD-WAN solution is robust and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with network architects and other designers to create detailed designs based on high-level plans.
• Test and validate network solutions in a controlled test environment.
• Draft comprehensive design documentation.
• Offer technical expertise to operations and qualification teams during implementation.
• Support the qualification and deployment of the new network infrastructure.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in network design and implementation.
• Strong experience with Juniper SD-WAN and SSR routers.
• Proficiency with Juniper SVR routing.
• Hands-on experience in cloud setup and integration.
• Excellent documentation skills with experience in writing detailed network design documents.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
