Sharepoint Product Owner (relocation to Belgium) in PORTUGAL

We are seeking a talented SharePoint Online Product Owner willing to relocate to or currently located in Brussels, Belgium.

The SharePoint Online Product Owner will oversee the planning, development, and management of our SharePoint Online environment, including Teams and OneDrive integration. This role will ensure alignment between business needs and product strategy, emphasizing document security and data protection. The Product Owner will lead the end-to-end process from requirement gathering to implementation and adoption, ensuring a user-centric, secure, and compliant SharePoint Online experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Vision and Strategy:

• Define and communicate the vision and strategy for SharePoint Online.
• Ensure alignment with business objectives, user needs, and market trends.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and end-users to gather requirements and feedback.
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and stakeholder input.

Product Development:

• Own the product backlog, ensuring it is well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with the product roadmap.
• Work closely with development teams to deliver high-quality features in a timely manner.
• Initiate and lead problem-solving efforts beyond your scope of responsibility.
• Manage the communication cycle with users from inception to post-go-live support, including incident and problem management.

User Experience and Adoption:

• Advocate for a user-centric design and ensure positive user experiences.
• Develop and execute strategies to enhance user adoption and engagement.
• Ensure necessary training and support are provided to end-users.

Performance Monitoring and Improvement:

• Monitor SharePoint Online performance and usage, identifying areas for improvement.
• Implement changes to enhance functionality and user satisfaction.

Compliance and Security:

• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with security teams to maintain a secure SharePoint environment.
• Implement document security measures, including data labeling and classification using Azure Information Protection (AIP).
• Develop and enforce policies to safeguard company information, including data access, sharing, and storage protocols.

Budget Management:

• Monitor and manage the SharePoint Online budget, providing proactive updates on potential deviations.
• Contribute to cost forecasts and budget exercises.
• Identify and pursue potential cost-saving opportunities.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, focusing on SharePoint Online.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, features, and capabilities.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Azure Information Protection (AIP) and data labeling practices.
