Position: Senior C++ Developer - Trading - APAC- Global Hedge Fund
Location: APAC (relocation provided)
TRB Executive Search Limited is a leading recruitment firm specializing in the financial services industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior C++ Developer to join our client's trading team in the APAC region.
As a Senior C++ Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance trading systems for our client. You will work closely with traders, quantitative analysts, and other developers to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet the demands of the fast-paced trading environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop high-performance trading systems using C++ and other programming languages
Collaborate with traders, quantitative analysts, and other developers to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions
Optimize and enhance existing trading systems to improve performance and functionality
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments to continuously improve the trading systems
Mentor and guide junior developers in the team
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in C++ development, preferably in the financial services industry
Strong understanding of trading systems and financial markets
Experience with low-latency, high-frequency trading systems is highly desirable
Proficiency in other programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# is a plus
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Willingness to relocate to the APAC region
