About The Position
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Become intimately familiar the game's direction and vision
- Work closely with leadership to outline and estimate core game systems for the project, achieving AAA quality results
- Document clear, concise, and complete designs to identify a modern gameplay experience
- Help the leadership/directors to prototype key features for systems or levels to demonstrate the core game concept to the development partners and team members
- Actively participate in design discussions and design reviews
- Point out design risks on the creative and production side to the management team to avoid potential risks.
- Train and mentor junior designers on relevant design tools and production tools
Qualifications
- 3~5 years Game Design Experience, experience in Unreal Engine 5 game development is a big plus
- Has at least worked on at least 1 released game title, and has complete development experience
- Strong knowledge of designing for multiplayer games
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Mandarin fluency is a must.
- Experience in working with the 3C’s of popular games
- Experience with scripting and understanding of technical aspects of game design
- Strong ability to deconstruct high level creative direction into specific technical details, features and tasks both for system and level design
- Ability to work in highly collaborative, interdisciplinary, iterative environments
- Ability to learn new software tools and technologies
- Proficient at mentoring colleagues on the assigned project
- Software skills ：
- Documentation Software : Excel 、 Outlook 、 PowerPoint 、 Visio 、 Word, Confluence
- Diagramming Software: Adobe Photoshop

About Our Team
The award-winning Virtuos Shanghai studio was founded in late 2004, the first of six game development studios located internationally and the former headquarters of the group before its relocation to Singapore in 2018.
Staffed by a multicultural group of talents, the studio specializes in providing full-stack game development and co-development services, including technical support for art and engineering.
