Laravel API Engineer in PHILIPPINES

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced and talented Laravel Developer to work on our flagship B2B/B2C platform. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Full Stack Laravel Developer with a proven track record adapting to existing projects and building greenfield projects.

What You Will Be Doing

• Create new features for our existing application using coding standards and best practices dictated by the Lead Engineer.
• Assist the Lead Engineer in directing the efforts of additional engineering resources that may be added to the project. This will require that this developer have the ability to understand core concepts, as related by the Lead Engineer, and then communicate them to additional team members.
• Create API endpoints for consumption by front end team.
• Create Laravel Jobs, Middleware, Traits, Handlers, Providers and Services to support application.
• Investigate defects and implement code fixes in current platform.
• Participate in daily standups and team collaboration.
• Follow company standards in managing work via Jira Software.
• Review peer code and assist in DevOps release process.

Required Qualifications

• Expert in Laravel (PHP) framework.
• Strong experience with JSON.
• Familiarity with PHPUnit, CI/CD, and GitLab for code management and deployment.
