What will you do?
This Position Is Needed To Help The KORE’ Connectivity Team Design, Develop, Deploy And Operate The IoT Connectivity Console For Providing Customers With Control Over Their Fleets Of IoT Devices. As a Frontend Engineer, You Will Be Part Of a Team That Designs, Builds And Operates Backend Services Powering Customers Facing Data Connectivity Systems. Your Primary Role Will Be To:
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Develop functional and appealing web- and mobile-based applications based on usability, building reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
- Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product’s interface.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
- Promote usability best practices.
Where will you work?
You will be collaborating with a development team based in Berlin. While this position is fully remote, we have shared-space offices across Berlin where we frequently meet.
Required Education And Experience
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in frontend development.
- Strong understanding of React.js and its core principles.
- Experience with data structure concepts and libraries.
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, EC2, RDS, and Lambda, and understanding how to integrate these into a scalable frontend architecture.
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
