BlueAlly Technology Solutions, LLC is looking for experienced technical individuals for our Systems Administrator position! As a part of the BlueAlly Technology Solutions, LLC team, you will be accountable for understanding client needs and supporting their IT solutions to meet their needs as well as follow best practices for solution implementation, documentation and communication.


As a Systems Administrator, you will provide consultation to customers on integrating and supporting industry leading technologies into their infrastructure to solve business problems. The Systems Administrator is accountable for developing knowledge of BlueAlly Technology Solutions, LLC products, procedures and technologies. A successful candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic in dealing with customers and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will report to the Director of Support Operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Managed Services responsibilities including monitoring support tickets, patching, and remediation activities.
  • Initial setup and configuration of monitoring including dashboard creation, alerts, notifications, and escalation rules.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries and trouble ticket analysis/resolution with escalation as needed.
  • Work directly with clients to support managed systems and solutions to meet their needs.
  • Assist in the daily administration of BlueAlly customers monthly service contracts.
  • Develop, document and maintain procedures for system utilities, such as backups, restores, performance tuning, and configurations
  • Perform daily and quarterly backups of client’s production systems and other backups as required.
  • Implement infrastructure solutions including network equipment, servers and software at client sites and in the data center.
  • Provide consultation and support through written, verbal and face-to-face correspondence.
  • Create written technical documentation for any work completed.
  • Customer specific tasks and duties as required
  • Other projects, tasks, and duties as assigned.


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills (ability to treat others with respect and empathy)
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Understanding of basic L2/L3 network topology and troubleshooting and Knowledge of network technologies
  • Responds to and identifies, isolates, and prioritizes the determination and resolution of significant problem events (e.g., router, switch, server, carrier and cable interface problems) through the use of network management tools, test equipment and/or the diagnostic capabilities of firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Minimum 1-year functional experience working in a Windows-based server environment
  • Understanding VMware or Hyper-V is a plus
  • Experience with Citrix deployments and management is a plus.
  • Experience with Fortinet solutions is a plus
  • Willingness to expand your technical skill set outside of core networking strengths
  • Associates degree in Information Technology field or 1-3 Year’s work experience in technology field.


Position Details:

  • 100% Remote
  • Schedule/Shift: 6 AM - 4 PM Philippines Time (10-hour shift)
  • Days of Work: Wednesday - Saturday (4-day shift/week)
  • Days Off: Sunday - Tuesday
  • Salary: $1500 - $1800 per month
