My client is looking for a Senior IT Manager who specializes in network security in the Hong Kong office. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network architecture, coupled with extensive experience in designing and implementing robust security measures to protect critical assets. Work Visa Sponsorship and a one-off relocation package will be provided for candidates who relocate to Hong Kong.

• Manage a team of network professionals for the day-to-day operations of the network infrastructure, ensuring uptime, performance, and scalability
• Develop and execute network strategies that align with business objectives and industry best practices
• Lead the design and implementation of cloud networking solutions for efficient data transfer and resource allocation
• Oversee network security measures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure access controls
• Monitor team performance and 3rd party vendors to provide guidance and ensure their delivery can meet the agreed standard
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and security threats to enhance the organization's network defenses

skills & experiences required.

• Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science/ Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline
• 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure-related areas, and a minimum of 8+ years of experience in network architecture, security, management, etc.
• Proficiency in network protocols, firewall technologies, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols
• Hands-on experience working in network (WAN/LAN), routers, and switches in the Cisco environment
• Solid experience with any cloud networking platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of methodologies, tools, best practices, and processes across various cybersecurity areas
• Knowledge of any of the well-known firewalls such as Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, or Palo Alto
• Minimum 3+ years working in a managerial/lead role with solid experience in team management and vendor management
• Proficient in both written and spoken English is a must
• CISA/CISM/CISSP/CCIE certification is highly preferred
