Events Coordinator – World Excellence Awards


World Excellence Awards has a fantastic opportunity for an Events Coordinator to join a friendly and collaborative team.


We deliver a programme of awards schemes and events that are market leaders in the Security, Fire, Economic Crime and Cyber sectors both in the UK and overseas (in 48 countries and expanding).

Purpose of post: To support the events manager in developing and coordinating different awards schemes and events both in the UK and around the world.


Key responsibilities:

·      Administration of awards schemes to include coordinating the entry and judging process

·      Planning, and executing promotional activities to drive entries, sponsorship and attendance

·      Actively connect with potential and current sponsors as well as new and existing contacts

·      Coordinating social media channels and keeping websites up to date

·      Coordinating marketing communications via our CRM platform (currently HubSpot)

·      Graphic design for infographics and PowerPoint presentations

·      Attendance at events both in the UK and overseas when needed

·      Raising invoices (currently through Xero)


Candidate profile:

·      Extremely organised - ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

·      Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

·      Experience of CRM and different marketing tools

·      Experience of design tools preferred

·      Creative flair

·      Comfortable with dealing with people at all levels, face to face, virtually and by telephone

What’s on offer:

Full time position (will consider job-share)

Salary - £25K - £30K

Fully remote working
