Lead Data Engineer in SERBIA

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic product and IT team. In this role, you will lead the development of our data infrastructure and drive strategic decisions for our data warehouse. Your expertise in SQL, dbt, and Microsoft Azure will be essential for optimizing data workflows and creating impactful analytical reports.

Responsibilities:

• Design ETL processes to ensure smooth data flow into our Azure-based Data Warehouse
• Build data pipelines with Azure Data Factory, using dbt for transformations
• Create analytical reports and dashboards (Metabase)
• Ensure data quality, governance, and best practices
• Lead the data team and maintain platform reliability

Requirements:

• Strong SQL and relational database experience
• Expertise in dbt (Core), Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory
• Knowledge of data modeling (star schemas), ETL, and BI tools (Metabase)
• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
