The Role

In this position, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of cutting-edge software products. We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer with substantial experience in quality assurance processes, particularly those related to aerospace industry standards such as DO-178C. The successful candidate will play a critical role in aligning the development processes with strict industry regulations and ensure the robustness of the software.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and management of software quality processes to meet DO-178C compliance standards.
  • Perform audits and reviews of software processes to identify non-conformance and address potential issues before external evaluations.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to maintain high standards of quality throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain detailed quality assurance documentation, ensuring it aligns with relevant industry regulations.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices related to software quality, AI, and industry standards such as EN 9100.


Qualifications:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years’ experience working as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
  • 5+ years' experience in the aerospace/ defense sector.
  • Proven experience in implementing quality assurance systems for safety-critical software, particularly in aerospace or regulated industries.
  • Expertise in DO-178C standards, with hands-on experience ensuring compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, independent approach to work.
