Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior to Mid-Level Web Developer to join our dynamic team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer or another designated leader, the ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working with PHP, particularly Laravel. Knowledge of MySQL is essential, and experience with PostgreSQL is a plus. Familiarity with Linux environments is also a plus. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a fully remote environment while working on challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features.
- Optimize and troubleshoot database queries in MySQL and PostgreSQL (optional).
- Ensure application security and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Participate in Agile workflows such as daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in PHP development, with a focus on Laravel and NodeJS
- Strong understanding of MySQL (PostgreSQL experience is optional but an advantage).
- Familiarity with Linux command-line tools and environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting with a self-motivated approach.
- Good understanding of Git and version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
