About the Role:

Our startup client is seeking an experienced Architect level AWS DevOps to join their team in Pakistan. This is a fully remote role, to be paid in USD (tax free).


Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform.

- Lead, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient deployment processes.

- Lead and manage container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and scaling.

- Collaborate with development teams to define and implement cloud-based solutions.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.

- Implement and maintain security best practices across all cloud environments.

- Optimize cloud costs and resources to maximize efficiency.


Qualifications:

- 12+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).

- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.

- Solid understanding of cloud security practices and monitoring tools.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.


Preferred Skills:

- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).

- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.

- Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus.
