To support our continued growth, we are looking to hire Business Development Representatives (BDR) based in Europe. In this role, your primary objective will be to accelerate new customer contract sales, focusing on strategic accounts and managing the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to closing.
Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills and the ability to adapt your sales approach to meet diverse customer needs and circumstances. Additionally, the ability to collaborate with the commercial team, and contribute to enhancing our sales strategy will be crucial in achieving our goals.
We highly value candidates with previous B2B outbound sales experience, particularly those experienced in enterprise selling and skilled in navigating complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
What you will be doing:
- Identify high-potential accounts and establish contact with key decision-makers.
- Participate in networking events, trade shows, and conferences to expand industry connections and generate new business opportunities.
- Utilize a consultative approach to deeply understand customer pain points, business challenges, and goals.
- Effectively communicate our value proposition and quickly assess and qualify new sales opportunities.
- Nurture leads and efficiently advance them through the sales pipeline while building strong, long-term relationships.
- Develop and present compelling proposals and take necessary actions to effectively close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business Development, Marketing, Customer Success) to continually improve our sales strategy.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business or engineering field.
- 5+ years of B2B outbound sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Success in navigating complex sales cycles with OEM customers, ideally in the maritime or energy sectors.
- Strong business acumen combined with the ability to understand and address the technical challenges and requirements of our customers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Native-level English and professional proficiency in another European language.
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with commercial teams and other company stakeholders.
- Proficiency with HubSpot (or other CRM tools) and advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience with additive manufacturing and/or digital inventory solutions is well regarded but not mandatory.
- Willingness to travel regularly to events and customer sites as needed.
- Eligibility to live and work in Europe without the need for visa sponsorship.
Location and Travel:
This position is available for remote work or from our office in Oslo, with up to 50% travel for visiting customer sites and attending tradeshows and events. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will have full ownership of target accounts and the opportunity to forge your own path to success.
