About the job:
As a Senior iOS Developer, you will help us create great iOS apps to power the front end of our patented scanning and sizing technology. This individual will work to push the frameworks and APIs of iOS while getting the most out of today’s LiDAR capabilities. If you enjoy working with emerging capabilities on the platform you’ll be at home with your fellow innovators here.
This role is a fully remote position. Preference is someone on the East Coast, but open to other time zones.
What You'll Work On:
- Write native iOS and iPadOS apps with clean, readable Swift code
- Built great interfaces with SwiftUI (whenever possible) that showcase the Human Interface Guideline’s ideals, and offer your platform experience to the creative team working on UX
- You’ll work a lot with spatial computing, especially the LiDAR Scanner
- Mentor less experienced iOS developers as needed
- Report directly to the Head of 3D and Mobile Solutions
- We’re an Agile company, so standups, sprints, etc. help us keep structured and efficient, while minimizing the amount of meetings for engineering
- Code reviews with helpful comments
- Writing iOS code to consume our backend APIs, so have some experience with REST or GraphQL usage on the platform
Your Areas of Expertise:
- A minimum of 4 years of professional software development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience and skills
- Familiar with major iOS design patterns such as MVC, and MVVM
- Expertise with Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C
- Comfortable with git (we follow Gitflow for our branching and release strategy)
- Knowledge of, or eagerness to learn: ARKit, RealityKit, VisionOS, VisionKit, CoreML, etc
- Experience with the LiDAR scanner, or some facility with 3D application development, would make you a particularly strong candidate
