Senior Java Developer with spoken French (relocation to Portugal) in MOROCCO

We are seeking a talented Java Technical Lead fluent in English & French willing to relocate to Portugal. Company offers Visa Sponsorship and good relocation package.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java development, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement robust software solutions, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Additionally, excellent communication skills in both French and English are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality of deliverables.
• Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance on best practices and technical solutions.
• Ensure the security and scalability of applications.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Continuously improve the development process by implementing innovative solutions and optimizations.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related Java frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies like React or Angular is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
