About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced full-Stack Mobile App Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a high-quality mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. A significant aspect of your work will involve creating an interactive platform for informal caregivers, which provides personalized care information and psychosocial support. You will work on both the front-end and server-side development to ensure a seamless and efficient user experience. You will also be involved in publicly funded research projects in collaboration with university partners, focusing on the development of early prototypes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS using .NET Core MAUI.
- Migrate existing projects developed in Xamarin.Forms to .NET Core MAUI.
- Integrate local FHIR (HL7) server for mobile phones for data caching and synchronization with central servers.
- Ensure high standards of data security and privacy in all mobile applications.
- Collaborate with other developers to design and integrate APIs and server-side components.
- Maintain and improve existing mobile applications with new features and performance enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in mobile applications and server-side components.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications are cutting-edge.
Requirements:
- You need to reside in Germany and hold a valid work permit.
- Programming Languages: C# with solid experience in XAML.
- Cross-Platform Development: Expertise in .NET Core MAUI and experience with Xamarin.Forms.
- Server Technologies: Experience with FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) and HL7 standards.
- Front-End Development: Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Databases: Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, as well as relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for backend integration and data synchronization.
- Data Security: Knowledge of implementing security standards and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Version Control: Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Qualifications:
- Completed degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software development, specifically in mobile development.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with FHIR and HL7 standards.
- Strong skills in front-end technologies and UI design.
- Experience with cloud services and their integration into mobile applications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
- Passion for cross-platform development.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in the healthcare industry and an understanding of the needs of caregivers.
- Experience with the integration of assessment tools.
- Knowledge in developing interactive features such as news feeds and forums.
- Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus but not mandatory.
- German language skills
