About The Position
We are looking for a System Requirement Engineer to join the Electronic Systems Engineering & Innovation team.
This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
As the System Requirement Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible for the requirements management activities at system level. They have to ensure the delivery and quality objectives are met. Their scope of activity also includes technical guidance to the development teams.
Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Ensure technical interface with the project stakeholders, collecting stakeholders' specifications and addressing them to the concerned areas (architecture, software design, software architecture, Product Engineering, System Integration, System Validation). Identify, classify and baseline the full set of applicable stakeholders' requirements (norms, procedures, customer and internal specifications).
- Track the overall of the assigned projects, identify possible roadblocks or support needed on time. Work with multi regional and cultural teams to achieve the miles of the project’s needs.
- Troubleshooting, queries, re-programing brief explanations for new projects, share Key documents from the R&D point of view for the PPAP approval.
What Qualifications You Will Bring
- Electronic engineering degree, Information science degree or equivalent background.
- English: written and spoken fluently.
- Min. 4 years of experience in embedded product development - for automotive product with high level of software contents.
- Product development experience from cradle to grave – understanding of complete product lifecycle.
- Requirements management tools (e.g. Doors).
- Knowledge of System / Software standard development processes (A SPICE, Agile, V-model).
- Defect Management tools knowledge (Jira).
Other Skills That We Would Welcome
- Electronics product knowledge (cluster, display, BCM)
- Modelling languages (UML) and tools (Enterprise Architect)
- Functional safety standard and design rules (ISO 26262)
- System architectural design
- Atlassian suite.
