Database Analyst (w/m/d) - for the Galileo Mission in GERMANY

Overview

As Galileo SOE2 you will be responsible of the TTC, DHS and Payload subsystems in the satellites.

What You´ll Do

  • Maintain the Operations DataBase (ODB)
  • Populate the ODB according to Database Change Requests (DCRs)
  • Validate of the DCR implementation in the Mission Control System
  • Debug and correct the ODB
  • Deploy and activate the ODB updates in the validation and operational environment
  • Participate in the ODB Change Request Boards (CRBs)
  • Analyse input SRDBs (Satellite Reference DataBases) delivered by Space Segment
  • Participate in the SRDB acceptance process chaired by ESA (SRDB DRBs)
  • Be the main PoC for the ODB tools: MOIS and OPF (Operations Preparation Facility)
  • Investigate anomalies on this tool and generate anomaly reports
  • Participate in Anomaly Review Boards (ARBs)
  • Validate new system releases and support the definition of additional requirements
  • Execute and debug the FOP (Flight Operations Procedures) release process
  • Participate in Flight Control Team meetings
  • Maintain the Operations Product Configuration List


What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in operations database population, maintenance, debugging and analysis
  • Experience in Spacecraft Operations
  • Experience in Operations Procedure Preparation
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g. Python, VBA)
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL
  • Experience with SCOS 2000 and MOIS would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of the Galileo system will be a plus
  • Fluent in English, both in speech and writing
