ROLE IS REMOTE – COMPANY LOCATED IN THE GREATER SEATTLE AREA, WA


$53.86-57.28/hr, $9,479-$10,081/month COMPENSATION RATE (depending on experience)

Our client is a large technology company based in the Greater Seattle Area. They develop software, services, products, and hardware devices.


MARKETING PRODUCT MANAGER

  • Summary:The main function of a marketing product manager is to research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential sales of a product or service. A typical marketing product manager is responsible for gathering information on competitors and methods of marketing and distribution.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
  2. Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals.
  3. Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.
  4. Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution.
  5. Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Top 3 Skills:

1. Partner marketing experience – 10+ years of experience

2. Gaming or Entertainment industry experience – 8+ years of experience

3. Working with and presenting to executives using PowerPoint – 8+ years of experience


Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience.

Qualifications:

Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.

Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.

Basic knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.

Degree/Certs: Minimum BA degree in a related field is required, MBA is a plus.

Disqualifiers: Candidates need to have partnership experience as well as product marketing experience in the gaming or entertainment industry.

Best: The best candidate has strong collaboration and project management skills.

PI: Feedback from team & Sponsor. Performance will be monitored via the effectiveness of their campaigns, their ability to work well with others and support health of the product with co-marketing partnership opportunities and delivering results.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

Start & End: 11/4/2024 – 6/30/2025.

Schedule: M-F, 40 hrs a week, no OT expected.

Typical Tasks: This will depend on the product marketing cycle but typically includes lots of meetings, often connecting between partner/license team in the game studio and the console team. This role will find opportunities to amplify, create pitch materials, negotiate contract terms, source proprietary partnership investments, make proposals for partners to pursue, track measurements of programs in flight, and communicate between a lot of roles. The role will also present to the studio leadership team with monthly status updates on partnership opportunities and may work with senior leadership occasionally.

Interaction Level: High level of interaction with Team & Sponsor.

Work Environment: Remote.

Flex Hours/Remote: Fully remote, candidates must work standard PST business hours.

Extension: Highly likely to extend.
