We are seeking a
Network Security Specialist to join our Secure Access Cloud and Proxy Services team in Prague. The candidate will provide daily operational support and ensure the security and efficiency of our network services in the cloud environment.
Details:
Location: Prague (preferred) or Full Remote
Job Type: Full-Time
Duration: 6+ months
Role: Operational support for network security services in the Cloud, including Firewalls, web proxies, application delivery, DNS, etc.
Skillset: Telecommunications/Network or Network Security experience, public cloud networking (Microsoft Azure/Google or Cloud Proxy), Fortinet Firewalls, F5 BIG-IP, IPSec VPN, Web Proxy
Responsibilities: Incident and problem-solving support, liaison with vendors, adherence to change management, and compliance with standards
Language: Fluent in English
Engagement Type: Full-Time/ Contract
Additional Skills (Nice to Have): Scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Terraform, Automation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd level support for network security services including Firewalls, web proxies, application delivery, and DNS.
- Resolve incidents and solve problems for assigned services.
- Work with external vendors to maintain service levels.
- Ensure all network security infrastructure changes follow the change management process.
- Implement solutions in line with agreed standards.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in Telecommunications/Network or Network Security.
- Experience with public cloud networking (Microsoft Azure or Google) or Cloud Proxy.
- Good understanding of Fortinet Firewalls, F5 BIG-IP, IPSec VPN, or Web Proxy.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle pressure.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience in scripting.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform.
- Familiarity with automation techniques and tools.
