Job Overview:
The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing database systems to ensure high performance and data integrity. This role will involve monitoring database performance, implementing security measures, and supporting data-related projects across various teams within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain database systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to enhance overall efficiency
Implement and manage database security measures to protect sensitive information
Backup and restore databases effectively to ensure data integrity and availability
Collaborate with development and analytics teams to support data-related projects and requirements

Requirements
Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
Strong knowledge of database design, backup/recovery strategies, and performance tuning
Experience with database security protocols and data protection measures
Familiarity with scripting languages for automating database tasks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and collaboration abilities
