We are seeking a talented Data Analyst willing to relocate to or currently located in Brussels, Belgium.


Role Overview

As the Lead Data Analyst & Visualization Developer, you will collaborate closely with the Lead Data Architect and Lead Data Engineer. Your focus will be on designing, developing, testing, and deploying data features, as well as analyze data to identify golden sources, primary and foreign keys, and map attributes in the enterprise data dictionary using Collibra.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis to identify and link existing data sources in the IdAM context.
  • Define requirements for data migration via ETL, ensuring data integrity, consistency, automation, and timeliness.
  • Map new and existing data attributes in Collibra, facilitating updates and ensuring accuracy.
  • Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) for new applications and support integration with COTS or SaaS applications.
  • Design, build, and test PowerBI dashboards to present meaningful information, including KPIs.
  • Document solutions using standard templates such as High-Level Technical Design, Entity Relationship Diagrams, and Detailed Functional/Technical Design.
  • Support testing, obtain sign-offs, and conduct handovers to the IdAM Infrastructure Operations team, including training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Assist with the migration of solutions to production environments and provide warranty support, including bug fixes and change requests.


Additional Responsibilities

  • Identify and communicate security risks during analysis and ensure designs mitigate these risks.
  • Consider the impact on processes and controls, emphasizing automation in design.
  • Recommend and implement agreed enhancements, while maintaining a problem-solving mindset.
  • Collaborate with other projects with dependencies on the PTA Inventory.
  • Maintain alignment with Euroclear's compliance requirements, recognizing the regulated nature of the financial institution.


Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis within a data context, including SQL and advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
  • 3+ years of experience with Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Data Engineering (e.g., ERWIN).
  • 3+ years of experience with data dictionary, lineage, and management tools (e.g., Collibra).
  • 2+ years of experience in PowerBI development for creating data visualizations and dashboards.
  • 3+ full lifecycle software development projects, including post-launch support.
  • Awareness of PowerShell for automating tasks in Windows environments.
  • Proficiency in SQL, including stored procedures for ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of Logical Access Management, Privileged Access Management, and controls.
  • Experience with SailPoint and CyberArk is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Awareness of security mechanisms across platforms (e.g., Windows, Linux, z/OS, SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Understanding of access control principles (e.g., segregation of duty).
  • Professional certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.
