At Mondu, we have the vision to disrupt and become the leader in B2B payments. We are building a Buy Now, Pay Later solution for B2B e-commerce businesses. Our business will address a new set of customer needs in a vast new market segment. To do so, we will need to re-invent core parts of the payment experience to serve the needs of business customers. Moreover, we will need to listen closely to local customer needs and tailor our approach to the requirements of local customers in Europe.

After a hugely successful initial funding round we are looking to grow at a phenomenal pace and this will not be possible without the right people in the team.

Our Risk team at Mondu consists of 3 main areas; investments (Treasury), loss prevention (Credit), and financial crime prevention (Fraud).

We focus on managing external risks to Mondu - whether it be consumer risk, market risk, merchant risk, or fraud risk. The environment and day-to-day work is ever-changing - and it’s our challenge to be ahead of the curve!

As the BNPL market continues to expand, we’re now working in one of the most competitive credit markets. Our team is composed of the brightest and most inquisitive minds to ensure all investments and risks are handled with ease.

👩‍💻👨‍💻What you’ll do:

• Manage our collections portfolio KPIs and reporting suite.
• Develop and implement enhanced Dunning strategies across multiple channels including calling strategy, emails, and letters.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, and buyer operations, to develop dispute strategies and ensure timely payments.
• Provide support in our collaboration with external collections agencies.
• Support the company's growth strategy into new markets, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the BNPL product is market-leading through detailed analytics and forecasting.

Requirements

🏅What do you need to succeed in this role?

• 3+ of high-level coding ability and good handling of SQL or similar coding languages
• Professional experience using MS Excel at a high level and various business intelligence tools (Tableau, Metabase, Power BI, etc.)
• Inquisitive mindset and a background in an analytical environment
• A strong focus on your personal development
• Solid interpersonal skills to help you deal with stakeholders across the business
• As you will carry out the role in English, fluent in business English is a hard requirement

It would be a plus if you also:

• Are able to speak/ write/ understand German.
• Came from a collections background.
