Design Engineer / Installer

Vacancy Location: remote-friendly with frequent business traveling; we can provide relocation either to Wroclaw, Poland, or Cyprus.

We have created technology that detects spatial and physiological characteristics of individuals using radar waves (privacy-based tool). Having obtained a provisional patent, we are currently testing our product in initial stores in Cyprus and the USA.

Our distributed team of approximately 50 individuals is focused on key functions: Algorithms & Machine Learning, Discovery Laboratory, Hardware & Embedded, Neuroscience, Software, Product & Delivery, People Partnership & Administration.

What You'll Be Doing in This Role:

You will be responsible for installing innovative experimental equipment in retail stores throughout the European Union and globally. This role involves significant travel, with over 50% of your working time dedicated to business trips.

Key Responsibilities:

• Laying cable routes;
• Installing low-voltage systems (local networks, video surveillance, “smart home” systems);
• Configuring and commissioning low-voltage equipment.

Key Qualifications:

• A higher technical education;
• Experience with installing IP cameras and analog video surveillance systems, security systems, and smart home systems;
• Basic electrical knowledge (understanding the functioning of local IP networks is a strong priority);
• English language proficiency at a B2+ level (you’ll need to communicate with technical staff in stores about your tasks);
• A valid Category B driver’s license (manual transmission) is desirable;
• Experience working with a soldering station;
• Legal ability to freely travel across the EU (long-term Schengen visa or EU residence permit).

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Knowledge of design tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
