WHAT YOU WILL DO
•Deliver cybersecurity technical support for the activities of the different Boards (e.g: ARB,
CCB, etc.) and associated working groups.
•Contribution to the specification, design and implementation of security monitoring and
cybersecurity requirements
•Create & update the Security monitoring and Cybersecurity procedures during their lifetime,
contributing to its validation and training
•Support the anomaly handling process related to the Security Monitoring and Cyber
Security. Creation and follow up of anomalies.
•Identify and assist in developing use cases and improvements for the Security Operations
team.
•Providing market analysis on new tools and technologies in the field of security monitoring
and cybersecurity.
•Provide support to the GSMC Support to OPS team on any other tasks under its
responsibility.
Types of activities and tasks:
• Reviewing Cyber and Security Monitoring technical documentation
• Creating new Cyber/SECMON operational procedures
• Reviewing the implementation of requirements in the operational documentation
• Reviewing and updating operational documentation
• Support the training / certification / preparation of security monitoring and cyber
training material activities, including organization, proctoring of exam and provision of
briefings.
• Supporting the validation of the new procedures
• Generating and maintaining traceability among different documents
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
• Engineering Master degree (Master/Diploma/PhD) or equivalent qualification preferably
in Space, Avionics, RF or Computer Science
• 5 years+ of work experience as cyber security engineer, gained in a professional position
in the Space industry preferably within an international context.
• General competence and understanding of SECMON systems
• Threat intelligence knowledge, vulnerability management, incident monitoring, incident
handling
• Experience in GNSS systems.
• Certification CYSA and/or GCIH and/or CISSP
• Fluency in English is mandatory (B2 minimum)
• Team player with a positive hands-on attitude and flexibility in an environment of tight
deadlines, unexpected changes, and frequent interruptions
• Good communication capabilities
• Methodical work-approach, results-oriented, analytical sense, priority setting ability for
her-/himself and the project
• EU citizenship
