Job Title: Python Engineer (Mid-Level AVP)

Location: Prague (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to 130,000 CZK/month

Relocation: Costs Covered for EU & Ukrainian Citizens

We are looking for a skilled Python Engineer to join our global team at an Investment Bank. This role focuses on data gathering, optimisation, PnL, and data analysis, with collaboration across teams in New York, London, and Hong Kong. You’ll be the first engineer based in Prague, driving critical data initiatives for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimise Python solutions, focusing on Pandas
• Perform data gathering, PnL optimisation, and data analysis
• Apply theoretical understanding of Black-Scholes & Greeks models to project work
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment on objectives

Requirements:

• Strong Python skills with a deep understanding of Pandas
• Basic knowledge of Black-Scholes models and Greeks (understanding the theory is sufficient)
• Solid background in statistics
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with dispersed teams
• Ideal for mid-level AVP candidates, but junior applicants will also be considered
• EU or Ukrainian citizenship (Relocation costs covered)
