Sibú Digital is looking for a Software QA Tester to join our growing team. This position will be mainly doing manual testing tasks to support our clients with the best quality assurance standards. We are looking for a QA with the following characteristics: team player, responsible, communicative, organized, quick learner, collaborative, friendly, and proactive.
Our current project entails the development of cloud-based
ERP business management software catering to small and medium-sized businesses. With dedicated divisions catering to manufacturing, wholesale/retail distribution, building and construction, and field service, the chosen candidates will be responsible for crafting solutions seamlessly integrated into all facets of our client's operations. These solutions aim to level the playing field, streamline day-to-day activities, and provide our clients the freedom to prioritize their core business objectives.
All candidates must be able to work within the US time zone (CST or EST).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a test to ensure functionality on multiple platforms.
- Provide quality assurance for optimal customer experience by ensuring that page content meets standards for content display and functionality
- Report any bugs or inconsistencies in the user experience
- Edit and proof copy to improve its readability by correcting errors and adding clarity
- Focus on both the details and the big picture—fixing the smallest of errors that have been overlooked while respecting the overall theme and intent of the content
- Provide quality assurance for optimal customer experience by ensuring that page content meets standards for content
- Effective communication, both in writing and verbally, with developers, product managers, project managers and other stakeholders
- Support release & post-release testing
- Complete tasks successfully and on time with minimal guidance
- Display and functionality by validating all page elements such as links, videos, images, and page layouts
- Create and execute manual test cases through different platform
- Create and execute functional and regression test on web, desktop, mobile and/or native applications
- Document, report, track and verify defects and fixes across multiple products and platforms
- Effective communication, both in writing and verbally, with developers, product managers, project managers and other stakeholders
- Support release & post-release testing
- Complete tasks successfully and on time with minimal guidance
- Possibility to work simultaneously on multiple projects as needed; each with specific instructions that may differ between them

Required Qualifications:
- Have a background in developing QA processes for ERP software or inventory systems, logistics, payroll, or other modules or features within an ERP.
- Passionate about impactful, quality software that customers will interact with daily
- Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of professional software development or QA engineering experience
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Strong understanding of software quality assurance processes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Passion to grow within the company
Ideally English Proficiency (B2 reading, writing, and conversation)
