Hybrid Infrastructure Delivery is a key element for transforming the Hapag-Lloyd application and Digital Product landscape. It combines the established principles with the adoption to new and innovative technologies. The overarching objectives regarding reliable, scalable, modern, secure and compliant systems is provided are applied to all core elements of the Hybrid Infrastructure environment. The complete stack – from Workplace, Network to Data Center & Cloud – is managed end-to- end and relies on specialized service provider and vendors. By adopting to cloud technology enhance operational efficiency and innovation is driven across the entire enterprise.
As IT Network and IPT Infrastructure Manager you will be responsible for implementation and maintenance of Hapag-Lloyd Network services in use You ensure system security, data integrity and compliant data access to company data. Together with IT-Security, Procurement, Data Protection and UX you will act as broker and internal provider to offer Internet and Intranet access to Hapag-Lloyd in a reliable, smart, and secure way.
Responsibilities
- Management of Network & IPT services and evaluation of new solutions
- Development and active participation in design of the managed Network platform (e.g. LAN, SD-WAN, Firewall, DNS, IPT and Contact-Center)
- Technical configuration and specifications for use of Network and Communication related services
- Management of provider relationship and ensure efficiency and reliability of service processes with external service providers
- Continuous maintenance of users and process documentation
- Handover solutions and changes into operation
- Technical support for network, telephony solutions and contact center infrastructures if needed
- Collaboration with product owner and use of agile methods
- Good communication skills and with multi-level and global stakeholders
- Experience in dealing with different departments (VIPs, senior management, sales, etc.)
- Close cooperation with IT security, data protection and application of regulatory requirements significantly responsible for provider management in the area of network and telephony infrastructure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, business, supply chain, engineering, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, Enterprise network and IP communication/Contact-Center environments
- Knowledge of quality management systems and standards
- Good understanding of IT infrastructures, global network and IPT services
- Significantly responsible for provider management in network and telephony infrastructure
- You have already gained experience in project management positions and in the ITIL framework (CCNP certification is desirable)
- Fluent English language skills, German is an advantage but not a must
- You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and communicate convincingly with both technology and business
- You have an agile mindset and a high level of quality awareness, enjoy sharing your know-how and are confident in dealing with virtual collaboration
- You are characterized by your willingness to perform
- You are structured in your way of working as well as solution-oriented and proactive
- In addition, you have already gained experience in project management positions and in the ITIL framework (CCNP certification is desirable)
