Role Description
We are seeking an experienced
Web Developer with expertise in
WordPress and
Shopify to join our team. This is a remote, full-time position offering the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, bringing their digital visions to life through seamless, responsive, and high-performing websites.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and maintaining websites in WordPress and Shopify, with a strong understanding of both platforms' best practices. You will work closely with our design and content teams to ensure the websites are fully optimized for performance, SEO, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites, ensuring that they are fully functional, visually appealing, and optimized for SEO and performance.
- Customize themes and templates according to client needs, ensuring seamless integration of design elements and functionality.
- Implement third-party integrations and custom plugins to enhance website features and capabilities.
- Ensure responsive design across all devices, maintaining high performance and fast loading times.
- Collaborate with the design, content, and marketing teams to ensure websites align with client goals and digital strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to website functionality or performance.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in web development, WordPress, and Shopify.
Key Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in web development with a strong focus on WordPress and Shopify.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience customizing themes, working with APIs, and integrating third-party tools.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and website optimization.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and optimizing websites for search engines.
- Experience with website analytics and tracking tools (Google Analytics, etc.).
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate clients in different time zones, particularly US-based clients.
