Tasks
Planning and execution of battery tests
Focus on cell tests, occasionally module or pack tests
Programming and configuration of test benches
Analyzing test results and providing feedback
Working closely with integration and battery development teams
Management of certification documentation (CS-23, DO-160, DO-311)
Processing ad hoc tasks and projects
Skills
BSc, MSc, PhD or equivalent degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a related field
Extensive practical and theoretical experience with lithium-ion cells
Practical experience with test systems (Kratzer, PEC, Basytec, AVL, etc.) and battery test equipment (sensors, data acquisition, etc.)
At least 1 year of experience with batteries; familiar with practical tasks and tools
Data analysis skills in MATLAB, Python, etc.
Fluency in English Another plus is:
Knowledge of BMS functions and CAN systems
Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry
Knowledge of German or other foreign languages
