• Office (x4 days in): This position will be based at the Client’s HQ in Central London, 4 days per-week in office and can offer full sponsorship visas & international relocation support as a UK AI Futures partner).

Amberes has partnered with an exciting Seed Funded AI start up, who are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to support their building of the world’s most capable safe AI evaluation model. Their product makes it easier for developers to improve their GenAI applications through automated testing and evaluation through the training of LLMs.

In this role you will be responsible for scaling their fining-tuning and inference frameworks for LLMs.

As one of the first Engineers, you will work closely with the existing ML Research Team to define and steer the ever-evolving inference and training stack. Alongside this you will:

• Build a fine-tuning framework that can scale to the next order of training runs
• Create high performance inference frameworks to ensure product reliability & speed
• Work closely with the Research Team to find new synthetic data generation techniques
• Lead and support the growth of the engineering organisation

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working with LLMs either professionally or personally
• Python
• ML Frameworks like Pytorch, TensorFlow etc
• Experience improving Model Training Times
• Experience in scaling fine-tuning and inference frameworks for LLMs
• Created or managed HPC clusters that serve ML models at scale
