Tasks
In consultation with the project team, you will independently develop, integrate and test C/C++ software components in the context of the LLC and MAC layers of a radio transmission method.
Based on the requirements specifications, you will develop and specify the design of the software components.
Based on the design of the software components, you will implement them in C++.
You will create and edit test descriptions for LLC and MAC mechanisms.
You will implement and execute the described tests.
You will supplement and extend the requirements data in the zug. DOORS database manually or script-based
Skills
General knowledge of the ISO/OSI model for network protocols
Detailed knowledge of the mechanisms for Logical Link Control (LLC) and Medium Access Control (MAC)
General knowledge of wireless transmission methods
Knowledge of Software Communications Architecture (SCA) desirable
Good to very good written and spoken English skills
Use of Eclipse and Visual Studio Code
Knowledge of IBM DOORS Requirements Management, DXL knowledge helpful
Knowledge of Software Configuration Management with GIT
Use of Python, Linux and Microsoft Office with Visio
