We need an experienced developer with advanced problem-solving skills to take on an OpenWRT project that embeds encryption and other IP packet data management within the eBPF/XDP Linux kernel space. This is a short-term and immediate project to enhance and extend an existing cloud communications code base
Requirements
Proficiency in the C programming language, OpenWRT, WireGuard, eBPF, XDP and IP packet protocols
Proven commercial experience working in the Linux kernel at both AWS and OpenWRT routers
Working knowledge of symmetric and public key encryption, key management and certificates a plus
Proven experience in API development for SQL and applications interfaces
Experience in system software development through a stable and deployable SaaS solution
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to produce comprehensive documentation at the technical level
