Job Overview
We are looking for a Backend Engineer who will be responsible for designing and implementing client-facing APIs that will serve our applications, consuming third-party APIs, assisting in ETL processes, ensuring the reliability of the backend system and building developer tooling.
Key Responsibilities
Develop APIs to facilitate our client apps' functionality
Maintain the existing backend monolith
Facilitate the integration between our backend and third-party software providers
Collaborate with the data engineering team to integrate data from various sources
Utilise the existing observability stack to monitor and respond to failures
Build internal tooling that is necessary for the operation and usage of our system
Requirements
Required:
3-5 years of Golang experience
Experience in designing and developing backend APIs
Experience in working with SQL databases
Experience with consuming and integrating third-party APIs
Ability to design and implement internal developer tooling
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Specialisation in PostgreSQL (highly appreciated)
Familiarity with pipeline/jobs libraries (e.g. River, Temporal)
Experience with containerisation technologies (e.g. Docker)
Experience with AWS and infrastructure tooling (e.g. Terraform)

Compensation
Starting from 1,800 EUR NET monthly, negotiable based on experience and skills
