LDAP Developer/Architect/Product Owner

Do you have solid hands-on experience with LDAP? (Preferably with Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) or similar LDAP solution).


Do you want to determine our future product road maps? Are you strategic but practical?


The NXP Access Management team has designed and built a completely automated self-service Access Management solution for the Chip Design Environment of NXP. This allows the chip design teams to manage access to their design data, facilitating chip design engineers to work together on innovative projects and on the next inventions of NXP world-wide.


The solution integrates platforms like OUD LDAP, SailPoint IIQ, load-balancers, Splunk, and ServiceNow. It also integrates a home-brew component built with Flask. The team takes end-to-end responsibility for their services and run them in a true agile mindset. They build it. They run it.


Your Role

  • Create the roadmap for the LDAP solutions.
  • Own and manage the operations and development of the solution ensuring deliverables are in line with customer requirements. Drive and lead the development team (8 FTEs) setting priorities and provide hands-on support when needed by deep diving into operations.
  • Interact with other stakeholders to improve the solution.
  • Manage the priority escalations on our service.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders in the organization.

Your profile

  • Bachelor or Master degree Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science. or equivalent practical IT industry experience.
  • Extensive knowledge with of LDAP product life-cycle stages from design, development, implementation and support of LDAP architectures.
  • Solid hands-on experience with LDAP preferably with OUD (or similar).
  • Experience with Linux OS (preferably RHEL).
  • Experience with working in a SAFE organization is helpful.
  • You have excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills. You get energy from achieving results together with your team.
  • Previous experience of Access Management is not required. Knowledge of Access Management Solutions within NXP can be built up over time.
