ABOUT CAREPAY:

We are a transformative tech platform for health insurance. Insurers partner with us to make their offerings personalized & data-driven.

Many insurers struggle with obtaining high quality data. This is problematic as it (1) puts them at risk for disruption by AI-technology, and (2) prevents them from making personalized products for the billions of customers who can afford health insurance but currently don't have it.

By partnering with us, insurers get access to granular, secure & privacy-compliant data around the individual. This is needed to make them ready for the AI-revolution. It allows them to transform their products into personalized & data-driven solutions, which enables them to better serve their existing customers and reach new customer segments.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

As a Senior Product Manager at CarePay, you will be responsible for bringing our insurance platform from our two operating markets, Kenya and the UAE, to twenty markets. You will guide us on the journey from building our initial product in close collaboration with health insurers to develop a solution that works for many markets.

Together with our amazing team of Product Managers Noortje, Anne, Erik, Arvid, and Sake, you will be responsible for defining the roadmap, and ensuring consistent delivery for one or two engineering teams. You will be working closely with tech leads, UX, Data, Legal and our Sales teams to make sure we are all sharing the same vision and voice.

Your day-to-day work will be focused on finding and bringing the most valuable product ideas to life. This includes becoming an expert at your domain and market, setting a strategy, planning, refining, and executing sprints with Jira, coordinating with other PMs, your tech lead counterpart, and our clients, participating in sales through demos and scoping, usage data on Snowflake and Metabase, and drinking a lot of Club Mate at our office.

  • Over 4 years of relevant experience in product management, preferably in software or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex product initiatives from concept to launch.
  • A keen interest in global development and healthcare.
