ZEOS is our logistic division which is currently offering to our partners Zalando Fulfillment Solutions (ZFS), Zalando Shipping Solutions (ZSS), Zalando Returns Solutions (ZRS), Zalando Premium Logistics (ZPL) and Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF).
Our team’s goal is to drive data-driven decision-making via business intelligence initiatives within the organization, enabling informed insights and reports to all of our stakeholders.
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Data Specialist to join our very diverse and easy going team. Everyone’s unique background contributes to the success of the team, building up a strong knowledge base both in terms of technical skills and camaraderie.
WHY YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED
- Develop and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and scorecards using different visualization methods to provide insightful business intelligence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
- Perform data analysis, profiling, and data cleansing to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Work with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and create meaningful visualizations that drive business decisions.
- Conduct regular data validation and quality checks to ensure the integrity of BI solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and best practices.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF...
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Established track record using Databricks & Airflow
- Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst with a focus on MicroStrategy.
- Strong programming skills with proficiency in languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Experience with data acquisition and integration from various sources.
- Solid understanding of database design, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Familiarity with other visualization and dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView is a plus.
