Middle DevOps Engineer with spoken French (relocation to Brussels, Belgium) in PORTUGAL

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer willing to relocate to or currently located in Brussels, Belgium.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong IT background with hands-on experience in infrastructure or development, coupled with a deep understanding of various infrastructural concepts. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes, and continuously learning and adapting to new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Utilize your extensive knowledge of infrastructural concepts including DNS, certificates, security, authentication & authorization, and public & private networks to manage and optimize our systems.
• Cloud Platforms: Leverage your experience with public cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure, to implement and maintain cloud-based solutions. Show a willingness to learn more about Azure technologies and architectures.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Work with IaC languages such as Terraform or Ansible. Experience with ARM or Bicep is an added advantage.
• DevOps Tools: Utilize tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Version Control: Apply your knowledge of GIT and branching strategies to manage code versions efficiently.
• Problem-Solving: Use your analytical skills to monitor the quality of solutions and diagnose any issues that arise.
• Client Interaction: Maintain a consulting mindset, communicate openly with internal and external stakeholders, and stay updated with the fast-evolving Azure landscape.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multiple development teams, demonstrating flexibility and a strong team spirit.
• Language Proficiency: Be fluent in French or Dutch and English, enabling effective communication within our multilingual team.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in infrastructure or development.
• Knowledge: Broad understanding of infrastructural concepts and public cloud platforms, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Skills: Proficiency in IaC languages (Terraform, Ansible, ARM, Bicep), DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise), and version control systems (GIT).
• Mindset: Strong analytical skills, a consulting mindset, and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills in French or Dutch and English.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
